Prom Night 2010

Prom was absolutely amazing!!! My entire day revolved around what was going to happen that night. I'm on prom committee and we were so anxious to get started on moving stuff into the cafeteria but we didn't get to until 12:30. After finishing up the final touches it was a race to the hairdressers. When my hairdresser was finished I couldn't feel the back of my head due to all the wax to keep my hair in place, not to mention all the bobby pins. After getting my hair and nails done it was time to go home and get ready. My date showed up while my mom was doing my makeup and his parents took out the cameras and so did my dad. My date, Josh, dressed up to match my hot pink dress with a pink tie and vest he even bought me a bouquet of red roses! Picture time was horrible there was six different cameras and a video camera!!! Altogether I think there was a total of 100 pictures taken of Josh and me alone, not including the single shots!!! Over all the dance was great but what really made my night was when we were leaving Josh's mom pulled up and started playing a slow song because Josh wanted to surprise me with one last dance!!!

senior year approaching

Wow almost twelve years. Only a few more weeks until I am technically a sSenior in high school. It only seems like a few weeks ago I was just starting in my junior year and now its basically over. Now that the end of the year is approaching its time to look at colleges, new jobs, and apartments even. It's all pretty mind blowing to me. This year has past me by very quickly almost like a heart beat. I still can't wrap my mind around the fact that I only have one more year in school and at home because when I start college after my "last summer" I will be vacating my parents house and moving into an apartment more than likely with a room mate.... Over all I think this last year will be the most interesting and the most heart-wrenching since the goodbyes start soon.

Eyes. One of the simplest words in the dictionary,but what does it mean? They are the windows to our soul are they not? What do you, reader, see when you look into a person's eyes? Pain, happiness? What about your own eyes do you see every thing you accomplished? Every flaw too? My main question is what do people see when they look into your eyes? Do they see you true character or the shield you might have put up to avoid their questions. Ask yourself these few questions, you might be suprised at what answers you arrive at.
